Under the authority vested in me by Article II, Section 15, of the                                                              
Alaska Constitution, I have vetoed the following bill:                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
    SENATE CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 8(STA)                                                                                         
    "An Act relating to electric-assisted bicycles; and providing for an                                                        
    effective date."                                                                                                            
                                                                                                                                
I vetoed this bill because it creates unnecessary bureaucracy by
